Fees:

Entry fees are:  $10.00 per event and $40.00 per relay.  Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded.

Eligibility:                 

This meet is open to athletes who fall within the age divisions listed below. A USATF or AAU membership is not required to participate in this event.

Illinois high school athletes can participate in this event. Because this event takes place prior to the start of the high school season, it does not count in the number of meet restrictions as set forth by the IHSA.

Age Divisions:       

Age divisions are determined by year of birth.  Listed below are the events that will take place in each age division:

The 0-12 age groups can compete in a maximum of three (3) events including relays. The 13-18 age groups can compete in a maximum of four (4) events including relays. Athletes must compete in their true age divisions – NO “MOVING UP”!

Entries

The registration site: https.net/Tra://www.athletic ckAndField/meet/622500/register. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, December 31^st, at 5:00 p.m. C.S.T. The entry fees must be paid at the registration site prior to the deadline. DAY OF MEET ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!

All athletes on teams (including relay alternates) must be registered online.

Check-In Requirements:

A packet will be provided for each team and unattached athlete consisting of a team roster with events entered.  A team representative or the unattached athlete is responsible for picking up the packet. On the day of the meet, packets can be picked up one hour before the scheduled start time.

Awards:

Event medals will be presented to participants and relay teams who finish in 1^st – 3^rd places.

Officials that are three-step compliant are encouraged to contact Jamero Rainey via email at usatfilofficials@gmail.com if you desire to officiate at this event. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Facility:

Proviso West has an awesome indoor track with many facility upgrades. Only ¼” or smaller pyramid spikes are allowed. Christmas tree spikes are not allowed. Spikes may be inspected on the track. Radios, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the facility. Fully Automatic Timing will be provided using Finishlynx Cameras interfaced with Hy-Tek Meet Manager.

Equipment:

Starting blocks and batons will be provided.

Event Results

During the competition, live results will be online. Afterwards, the results will be posted at the following site:  www.usatfillinois.org. Go to” Association Championships”.

Protests
There will be a $100 fee (cash only) for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and no later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. A protest must be a violation of a rule and not a disagreement with a judgment call. The protest fee is refunded if the protest is upheld.

Admission:

The admission fee is $10.00 for ages 6 and up (5 and under are free).

A convenient online admission payment process will be available later. A notification with online instructions for payment will be provided via email in Athletic.net.

Coaches whose names are listed on the Coaches Registry will not have to pay an admission fee. However, lost coaches wrist bands will not be replaced. The coach must purchase a spectator’s band at full cost and all coaches’ privileges are revoked.

Note: There are no ATMs on the premises.
