Fees:

Entry fees are:  $10.00 per event and $40.00 per relay.  Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded.

Eligibility:                 

This meet is open to athletes who fall within the age divisions listed below. Membership in USATF or AAU is not required to participate in this event.

Illinois high school athletes can participate in this event. Because this event takes place prior to the start of the high school season, it does not count in the number of meet restrictions as set forth by the IHSA.

Age Divisions:       

Age divisions are determined by year of birth.  Listed below are the events that will take place in each age division:

The 0-12 age groups can compete in a maximum of three (3) events including relays. The 13-18 age groups can compete in a maximum of four (4) events including relays. Athletes must compete in their true age divisions – NO “MOVING UP”!

Entries

The registration site is https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/520555/register. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, December 20^th, at 5:00 p.m. C.S.T. The entry fees must be paid at the registration site prior to the deadline. DAY OF MEET ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!

All athletes on teams (including relay alternates) must be registered online.

Check-In Requirements:

A packet will be provided for each team and unattached athlete consisting of a team roster with events entered.  A team representative or the unattached athlete is responsible for picking up the packet. On the day of the meet, packets can be picked up one hour before the scheduled start time.

Awards:

Event medals will be presented to participants and relay teams who finish in 1^st – 3^rd places.

Facility:

The Shirk Center field house has an awesome indoor track with many facility upgrades. Only ¼” or smaller pyramid spikes are allowed. Christmas tree spikes are not allowed. Spikes may be inspected on the track. Radios, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the facility. Fully Automatic Timing will be provided using Finishlynx Cameras interfaced with Hy-Tek Meet Manager.

Because of limited seating, spectators are encouraged to bring portable/folding chairs.

Equipment:

Starting blocks and batons will be provided. Throwers can provide their own implements that will be certified prior to use.

Event Results

During the competition, live results will be online. Afterwards, the results will be posted at the following site:  www.usatfillinois.org. Go to” Association Championships”.

Protests
There will be a $100 fee (cash only) for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and no later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. A protest must be a violation of a rule and not a disagreement with a judgment call. The protest fee is refunded if the protest is upheld.

Admission:

Cash Only - Admission fee is $10.00 for ages 6 and up (5 and under are free). The admission fee for Seniors 65 and up is $5.00 upon the presentation of a government issued ID.

Event guests may choose to pay advance ticket admissions online via PayPal. By paying in advance and using this online service, you agree to the additional online transaction fees. Visit "Will Call" at Packet Pickup to retrieve your entry wristband. Be prepared to show a Government issued ID to retrieve your ticket. Scroll the bottom of this page to purchase tickets.

Coaches whose names are listed on the Coaches Registry will not have to pay an admission fee. However, lost coaches wrist bands will not be replaced. The coach must purchase a spectator’s band at full cost and all coaches’ privileges are revoked.

Order of Events

Note: All events are girls then boys within the age groups, youngest to oldest, unless otherwise noted.

 (ONLINE TICKET PURCHASE)

To Purchase: (Must visit on desktop to view and purchase)

1. Select from the drop down the ticket type you would like to purcharse and "Add to cart."
2. A PayPal window will open in a different tab showing the number of tickets in your cart and you may adjust the quantity. 
3. If you would like to add a different ticket type, revisit the previous tab and select the new ticket type from the dropdown and "Add to Cart."
4. Your updated cart will reappear in the next window with the new, additional ticket type. You can adjust the quantities and checkout via PayPal or another payment method.
