Fees:

Entry fees are:  $60.00 per relay.  Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded.

Eligibility:                 

This meet is open to athletes who fall within the age divisions listed below. Membership in USATF or AAU is not required to participate in this event. Nor is a club required to have a current membership.

Illinois high school athletes can participate in this event. Because this event takes place prior to the start of the high school season, it does not count in the number of meet restrictions as set forth by the IHSA.

Age Divisions:       

Age divisions are determined by year of birth.  Listed below are the events that will take place in each age division:

Notes:

• You must register as a team and a team must have a minimum of four members.
• All members on a particular relay must be dressed in similar colors.
• Teams are not required to be a USATF member club.
• USATF individual memberships are not required.
• All relays will be offered as “MIXED”. Two males and two female and will be ordered as F/M/F/M.
• The 5-12 age groups can compete in a maximum of three (3) relays.

All athletes on teams (including relay alternates) must be registered online.

The entry deadline is Wednesday, August 2^nd at 5:00 p.m. C.S.T. All entry fees must be paid by the deadline. DAY OF MEET ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!

Check-In Requirements:

A packet will be provided for each team consisting of a team roster with events entered.  A team representative is responsible for picking up the packet. On the day of the meet, packets can be picked up at the facility one hour before the scheduled start time.

Awards:

 Event medals will be presented to relay teams who finish in 1^st – 3^rd places.

Facility:

Only ¼” or smaller pyramid spikes are allowed.  Christmas tree spikes are not allowed. Spikes may be inspected on the track.  No radios, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility. Fully Automatic Timing will be provided using Finishlynx Cameras interfaced with Meet Management software.

Equipment:

Batons will be provided.

Event Results

During the competition, event results :shazam.live. Afterwards, the results will be posted at the following site:  www.usatfillinois.org. Go to” Association Championships”.

Protests
There will be a $100 fee (cash only) for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and no later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. A protest must be a violation of a rule and not a disagreement with a judgment call. The protest fee is refunded if the protest is upheld.

Admission:

Admission fee is $10.00 for ages 6 and up (5 and under are free). An admission fee is not applicable to coaches who provide a current photo ID and are listed in the Coaches Registry.
