Fees:

Youth:       Entry fee is $8.00 per individual event and $32.00 per relay team.  Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded.
Masters:   Entry fee is $10.00 per individual event and $40.00 per relay team. Entry fees will not be transferred or refunded.

 

Coaches will be admitted free with a band that will be provided at packet pick up. A band will provided based on the number of athletes entered in the meet.

 

Eligibility:        

This meet is open to athletes who fall within the age divisions listed below. An USATF or AAU membership is not required to participate in this event.

 

Illinois high school athletes can participate in this event as unattached, club team members or school team members. However, the 2015-16 Non-School Competition Participation Request Form must be completed, signed by the schools principal and returned to the IHSA Office no later than ten (10) days prior to the date of competition. The IHSA information can be found at the following location: http://www.ihsa.org/SportsActivities/GirlsTrackField.aspx (it is also available on the IHSA boys track site).The IHSA has been advised of this event.
 

Age Divisions: 

Age divisions are determined by year of birth.  Listed below are the events that will take place in each age division:

 

8 & under Division 2006-2007
9-10 Dvision 2006 – 2007
11-12 Division  2004 – 2005
13-14 Division  2002 – 2003
15-16 Division  2000 – 2001
17  - 18 Division  1998 – 1999 and 1997 if date of birth is after August 1, 2016
19-29 Division 1987 – 1997 Open Division
30 & Up Division 1986 and earlier Masters Division

 

The 0-12 age groups can compete in a maximum of three (3) events including relays. The 13-18 age groups can compete in a maximum of four (4) events including relays. Athletes must compete in their true age divisions – NO “MOVING UP”!

 

Entry Information:

All teams and unattached athletes must use the online entry process at the following location: www.coacho.com.  Go to “Calendar” and locate the event by date then by name. The meet deadline is Wednesday, February 10th, at 11:59 pm. The entry fees can be paid at the Coach O site prior to the deadline or at packet pick up. Youth DAY OF MEET ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!!

 

For Masters and Open, day of meet registration entries will be accepted. However, entries close at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. Masters and Open athletes have the option to mail in entries. A separate form is provided for registration. The deadline for mail in Masters and Open entries is Wednesday, February 10, 2016. All fees must accompany the registration form.

 

Check-In Requirements:

A packet will be provided for each team and unattached athlete consisting of a team roster with events entered.  A team representative or the unattached athlete is responsible for picking up the packet.  Packets can be picked up at the track facility on meet date beginning one hour before the meet start time. 

 

Awards:

 Event medals will be presented to participants and relay teams who finish in 1st – 3rd place.

Facility:

The Auburn Field House has an awesome indoor track with many facility upgrades. Only 1/8” or smaller pyramid spikes are allowed.  Christmas tree spikes are not allowed. Spikes may be inspected on the track.  No radios, glass containers, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility. Fully Automatic Timing will be provided using Finishlynx Cameras interfaced with Hy-Tek Meet Manager.

 

Equipment:

Starting blocks and batons will be provided. Throwers can provide their own implements that will be certified prior to use.

 

Event Results:

During the competition event results will be posted at the track facility. Afterwards, the results will be posted at the following site:  www.usatfillinois.org. Go to” Association Championships”.

 

Protests:
There will be a $100 fee (cash only) for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and no later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. A protest must be a violation of a rule and not a disagreement with a judgment call. The protest fee is refunded if the protest is upheld.

 

Admission:

Admission fee is $8.00 for ages 6 and up. Spectators 62 & up are admitted free with a government issued ID.
