Westwood Indoor Track Facility

Pre-Registration: for this meet will be online at https://www.usatf.org/Products---Services/Event-Registration-Form.aspx?e=102392. Online registration starts Friday, January 3rd at 6:00 am and run until midnight, Wednesday, February 12th. The entry fee is $20.00 for the first event and $5.00 for each additional event. Relays are $20.00
Event Day Registration: 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Entries cannot be made after 10:00 am. The late entry fee is $25.00 for the first event and $5.00 for each additional event.
Payment: Online registration must be made with a credit card, debit card or electronic check. Event day registration: check or cash. Checks must be made payable to "USATF Illinois."
-NO FAXED, SCANNED OR E-MAILED ENTRIES ARE ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS MEET.
-USATF MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS MEET.
-YOUTH ATHLETES ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COMPETE IN THIS MEET.
If your age has not been verified, please bring a legible copy of a birth certificate or proof of age along with your USATF membership card. Do not send in advance.
Eligibility: This meet is open to Masters (30 & up) and Open athletes (19-29) who are 2014 members. USATF memberships can be obtained through your Association Membership Chair (www.usatf.org/association) or online (www.usatf.org/membership). You will not be able to obtain a membership on the day of the meet. Age divisions are determined by year of birth on the day of the competition. Athletesmust compete in their true age divisions. NO MOVING UP OR DOWN.
Check-In Requirements: If needed, numbers will be provided at the Registration Table for all athletes. Be sure to bring your USATF membership cards when you check in. An admission charge of $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children 12 and over will be collected at the gate to help defray the cost of running the competition. All profits from the competition will be deposited with USATF IL to go towards Masters events.
Awards: Individual USATF medals will be awarded to participants who finish 1st - 3th place in each individual Association Championship event.
Officials: Anyone desiring to officiate at this meet is encouraged to contact USATF IL or Jamero Rainey, USATF IL Officials Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to thank our volunteers and Officials for their time dedicated to our Masters/Open Championships event.
Facility: The indoor track facility at Westwood is a SportTan six lane, 200 M oval with an eight lane, straight-away. Field event venues include dual runways for the horizontal jumps and the pole vault. There are multiple throwing rings and an indoor throwing cage. No pin spikes are allowed. Athletes may only use Flats or one-quarter (1/4) inch pyramid spikes. Some parking to close to the entrance of the complex may be reserved for handicapped athletes, meet workers and officials. Your cooperation will be appreciated to leave this spots for these persons.. No radios, glass containers, smoking, tobacco, or alcoholic beverages are allowed in the facility. Full concessions and showers are available on site. Bring your own locks for lockers.
NEW: Timing and Results: Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) will be provided by AccuRace Timing Services. A clock will be provided by the Rock River Road Runners. Once fully verified, official results will be posted at www.musicinmotion5K.org, and www.usatfillinois.org.
Equipment: There will be some starting blocks but athletes are expected to bring their own. Field event athletes are expected to bring their own implements. Weighing of implements will take place at Registration. Please do not expect the facility to have equipment for you.
