Triathlon (Bantam …… $15), Heptathlon (Intermediate Girls/Young
Women …… $20), Pentathlon (Midget & Youth…$15) and Decathlon
(Intermediate Boys/Young Men ……$20). Individual events are $7.00. Relays
are $28.00. |
| USATF
Membership is required. If
applying for USATF membership for the first time, a valid proof-of-age
document must be received with the membership application. |
| Qualification
for advancement to the USATF Jr. Olympics National Combined Events Champions,
July 26 -27 in Wichita, Kansas: Top two (2) places advance. Note: Anyone
making the performance standard can to advance to the national competition.

Registration Fees: All
athletes must declare and pay for National Jr. Olympics advancement at the
following site: www.coacho.com.
Fees are as follows:
$8.00 per individual event, $32.00 per relay, $20.00
triathlon/pentathlon, and $24.00
decathlon/heptathlon. |

Pickup: Thursday, July 7
thru Sunday, July 10, at the track. Please allow sufficient time for pickup
before each event. |
| Admissions:
The admission fee is $7.00 per day for Saturday and Sunday or $10.00 for
two-day passes. An admission fee is not charged for Thursday and Friday.
Pre-school children are free. Only those coaches with current 2011
background checked membership cards are admitted free (a special card is
required). Coaches’ passes will not be issued. |

Heights: To be determined by
the field judge for each age division at each event. |
| Medical:
The USATF Illinois “Medical Team” will be on site. USATF Illinois
medical personnel consist of certified doctors, trainers and other medical
specialists: AthletiCO, 630 572-9700; Dr. David Weiss, Medical Director. |

Fine Designs will sell “Region 7 Jr. Olympics Championship” t-shirts. |

| National
Jr. Olympics Qualification: The top five (5) finishers in each event at
the Region 7 meet qualifies to advance to the JO National Championship, July
26 – 31, Wichita, Kansas.. |
| Atoms
and Shrimps Special: Athletes in these divisions will compete in their
own fun/exhibition (X) events on Sunday, July 10. Fees, prior registration
or USATF membership is not required. Award will be provided to all
competitors. Shrimps: 3-4 years old. Atoms: 5-6 years old. |

FROM THE NORTH (Waukegan)/Via 94
Take I-94 toward Indiana. Keep right to take I-294 S toward Indiana-O’Hara.
Merge onto I-55 S toward Stevenson Expressway/St. Louis. Merge onto IL-126 W/W
Main St via Exit 261 toward Plainfield. Turn left onto S Route 59/US 30/IL-59.
Continue to follow S Route 59/IL-59. Turn right onto Fort Beggs Drive. Go 0.2
miles.
FROM THE SOUTH (Springfield)/Via I-55
Take I-55 N toward Chicago. Take the IL-59 exit, Exit 251, toward
Shorewood/Plainfield. Turn slight right onto Cottage St/IL-59. Continue to
follow IL-59. Turn left onto Fort Beggs Dr. Go 0.2 miles.
FROM THE EAST (Chicago)/Via I-55
Take I-55 S toward St. Louis. Merge onto IL-126 W/W Main St via Exit 261
toward Plainfield. Turn left onto S Route 59/US 30/IL-59. Continue to follow S
Route 59/IL-59. Turn right onto Fort Beggs Drive. Go 0.2 miles.
FROM THE WEST (Sterling)/Via I-88
Take I-88 E/Chicago-Kansas City Expressway/Ronald Regan Memorial Tollway. Take
the Orchard Road exit. Turn left onto Orchard Rd. Turn left onto US-34/30. Turn
right onto US-30. Stay straight to go onto W. Lincoln Hwy. Turn left onto
IL-126/W Lockport St. Continue to follow W Lockport St. Turn right onto S. James
St. Take the 3rd left onto W Fort Beggs Dr.
FROM INDIANA (Gary)/Via I-355
Take I-80 toward Chicago crossing into Illinois. Merge onto I-355 N via Exit 140
toward west suburbs. Keep left at the fork to go on I-355 N. Take IL-7 /159th
street exit. Take the ramp toward
Lockport. Turn left onto W 159th St/IL-7 W. Continue to follow IL-
IL-7 becomes Renwick Rd. Stay straight to go onto Renwick Rd/CR-36. Continue to
follow CR-36. Turn right onto S Route 59/IL-59. Take the 1st left
onto Fort Beggs Dr. Go 0.2 miles.
